M2M Does Pretty Well for 2001 |

M2M does pretty well in Asia-wide
year-ending countdowns. As reported before, Everything lands in
a good 69th place only after 2 months of launch in MTV Asia's Top 100 videos
of 2001. MTV Asia does the countdown by tallying the requests and the airtime
of videos throughout the year. |
In rival network Channel [V], your year-ending
votes helped M2M climb up to 17th in the final chart beating even Linkin
Park's In The End (18th). Channel [V] determines the votes via a clean-slate
voting (air time and requests do nothing) on the Internet. Thanks to all
the fans who voted!
On the other hand, The Day You
Went Away lands in a cool 7th place in the Vid-Ok year-ending countdown.
M2M was also awardedd by Vid-OK as the "Most Popular Female Group for
2000 and 2001". It beat the likes of 'N Sync, Shaggy, The Corrs and
Westlife (well, at least one song from Weslife). Unlike MTV and Channel
[V], Vid-Ok counts the number of weeks at the number one spot to determine
their Top 20 videos for the year.
With 2001 coming to a close, we hope
that M2M would do even better this coming year! Hopefully with videos such
as What You Do About Me you guys will show more support through voting
and requesting!

Those unlucky enough who weren't
able to catch M2M's new video, What You Do About Me on Channel [V]
will be relieved to find out that MTV Asia has finally aired the new video
on their program MTV Fresh.

The Big Room Goes Platinum |
| M2M's second Atlantic offering,
THE BIG ROOM, dropped early in Asia, and it's having huge success across
the continent. They've already reached Platinum in Indonesia and Thailand,
and M2M have been pegged as Channel #91V#93's "Chosen One" for the month
of January and MTV Asia's 'Artist of the Month' for February!
So what's in THE BIG ROOM? The effervescent,
pop-friendly album finds a more mature Marit and Marion taking to their
instruments, and as Marit, 18, says:
"Our fans are growing up too, and
I hope they've grown with us. We write songs about what we experience now,
and what we've gone through since the last record. They've probably gone
through a lot of new things too. It's very important that we show people
that we've evolved. We never want to make the same record twice."
The much-anticipated follow-up to
M2M's smash SHADES OF PURPLE, THE BIG ROOM releases world-wide in February. |

| M2M's video, Everything proved to
be a wide success here in Asia. Only after two months and a half, the video
entered the MTV Top 100 videos of 2001 landing in at 69!
Let's keep on supporting M2M especially
with their upcoming new video What You Do About Me, which according to
Marion, "will shock fans". |

M2M to Appear in ABS-CBN Program |
| M2M filmed a segment on the highly
rated teen drama flick, Gimmick during their four-day Philippine tour here
last December 4-8, 2001. For those who are waiting to catch a glimpse of
the Norwegian duo, tune in on ABS-CBN on Saturday, December 29, 2001.
The cameo role will feature M2M playing
at the Caramba restaurant. We'll post the exact time within the next few
days. |

Manila Tour, A Great Success! |

M2M's recent visit here in Manila,
Philippines is a great success. Last December 07 Friday, they held an indoor
party at the World Trade Center. The show starts around 9 PM and
they perform 4 songs from S.O.P. and 6 songs from their latest album, The
Big Room. According to M2M.ph,
the huge crowd motivate M2M to do a full-scale concert sometime next year.
So watch out for that. |
The autograph session that happened
the day after, Dec 08 starts around 4:30 PM. There were about 2000 fans
who waited for a couple of hours and managed to fall in line just to have
an autograph of M2M.
M2M also did some series of interviews
that may be seen on MTV Asia. The show will also be televised on RPN 9.
Watch out for the details very soon.
On the contrary, M2M next video
will be "What You Do About Me" that was filmed in Thailand. A little
tidbit, Marion looks sexy on this video.
