"Everything" has hit #1 on Channel [V] Thailand's countdown and peaked at #2 on 95.5 radio. It has gone all the way to #1 on the other station, 102.5! 

Channel [V] Video Channel in Australia has added M2M`s single "Everything" into "B" Rotation (4-5 plays per day) starting this week!

As you all know M2M have been nominated as "FAVOURITE POP ACT" at the MTV Asia Awards.It is now confirmed that they will perform at the Awards, taping February 2nd in Singapore and televised all across Asia!The new single and video "What You Do About Me" goes out in Asia this month!

M2M "The Big Room" (Atlantic)   In Summary: A huge improvement for the girls. A pop record that rocks indeed!

You May Have Heard: The lead single "Everything," which has a video that unveils the girls' new image. Watch out for the attitude-laden Marion and Marit in hot pants and tinted shades. Serious Britney contenders indeed!

We Fancy: Be prepared for an all-new M2M! In just two years, Marion and Marit have outgrown their cutesy "Pokemon" days and emerged with stronger vocals and harmonising abilities, clearly evident on tracks like "Everything," "What Do You Do About Me," "Payphone," and "Eventually." Although the girls are still writing about teen issues like popularity, love, and jealousy ("Miss Popular," "Jennifer"), the teeny-poppy sound is there no more! Instead, the girls have gone for a more organic, guitar-based sound that really works well with their new singing style.

We're Not Sure About: They write their own stuff, play their own instruments, sing really well, and they look really good too! So young and yet so talented! How can anyone not like them at all?

Dropping by Asia for a whirlwind promotional tour for their latest album "The Big Room," Marion Raven and Marit Larsen of M2M finally made their way to Singapore (their second last stop) for a short two-day stopover. Not only did the girls hold an autograph session at HMV at the Heeren Shops that attracted thousands of M2M fans, they also put up a fantastic gig at Grease disco last December 10, 2002.

Being an "over-18-only" event, the event unfortunately didn't manage to see the usual screaming mad fans in attendance. Kicking off their gig at about 7:30 p.m., Marion and Marit launched into their first lead single "Everything" off the "The Big Room." The song, slightly edgier than the old stuff that M2M used to do, certainly proved to be a hit among the fans who clapped and sang along with the girls.
 
 

Showing an huge improvement in their vocals abilities, Marion and Marit belted out two more songs "What You Do About Me" and the slightly angsty "Jennifer." Marion also whipped out her baby Taylor and decided to join Marit on guitars for an acoustic set on "Don't" and "Love Left For Me." The male fans were of course transfixed at the sight of two cute girls on stage playing guitars with such passion!

A short banter with the girls giving out two cute bears that each of the girls personalized with their kisses later, the night finally ended with an acoustic version of "Pretty Boy." A short showcase it may be but it was certainly quite a worthwhile one! -- Lennat Mak
